St. John Method of Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
St. John Method of Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), also known as integrative neurosomatic therapy, was developed by Paul St. John, LMT in response to his own chronic pain. This is a comprehensive, complimentary approach to resolving soft tissue pain and restoring balance between the muscular and nervous systems. By using careful techniques to identify the issues with posture and movement, this therapy fully addresses all five stages of rehabilitation: eliminate muscle spasms, restore flexibility, restore proper biomechanics, increase muscle strength and increase muscular endurance. The NMT approach to Therapeutic Massage not only helps to eliminate pain, but also helps the patient learn ways to prevent another occurrence of the injury. The result being a noticeable decrease or complete relief from pain.

Cupping MassageCupping massage is an alternative medicine, that goes hand-in-hand with massage therapy, and dates back to ancient Egyptian and Chinese cultures. During a cupping therapy session, the therapist places special cups that hold a vacuum on your skin for a few minutes. The vacuum in the cup causes the skin to rise and swell, which expands the blood vessels and increases blood flow. People receive cupping therapy as a type of deep-tissue massage that has been said to help with blood flow, relaxation, pain relief, and inflammation.
